London-based event marketing expert, Live Innovations is committed to helping its workforce achieve their goals and reach their full potential and this past week, Managing Director, Tom Harris hosted a workshop on what it takes to live a dream life.
Mr Harris contends that living a dream life is the result of daily behaviours and habits and the award-winning entrepreneur revealed what he believes to be the necessary attributes.
- Be Ruthless
To live a dream life, people need to possess unshakable motivation and determination to achieve their goals, and not allow anyone or anything to stand in their way. A laser-like focus will enable them to overcome any obstacles to achieve their goals. They will also surround themselves with a network of peers who can help them achieve their goals and assist them on their journey to success.
Benjamin Franklin once said, “By failing to prepare, you are preparing to fail.” Mr Harris believes that when people do their research and they are fully prepared, they are setting themselves up to succeed. Successful people are always prepared and therefore are confident in their ability to succeed.
- Create the Rules
The super successful live in their world and abide by their own rules argues Mr Harris. The business owner contends that successful people like to be in control of every aspect of their life, putting the power in their hands.
- Become a Problem-Solver
The world is full of problem makers, and the super successful are the ones who are problem-solvers. Mr Harris believes that successful people thrive in the face of adversity and tackling challenges head-on.
- Be adaptable
Mr Harris believes that to become a super successful individual; someone has to be adaptable and embrace change. The business owner argues that when progressing, change is inevitable.
