London-based event marketing specialists Live Innovations were left feeling motivated and inspired after attending the 2017 Black Tie Awards Gala on May 20th.
As the stand out event in the sales and marketing calendar, the awards ceremony was attended by industry experts and consultants from all over the World, with some of the most influential and successful figures in the industry, flying in from the US, South Africa and Australia, especially for the occasion.
After an outstanding 12 months for the UK sales and marketing industry, which saw massive growth, the event organisers were keen to host an awards ceremony that encapsulated that success and rewarded attendees for their hard work and efforts with a night to remember.
The annual event gets bigger every year as organisers aim to eclipse the previous year’s ceremony. The 2017 ceremony began with attendees welcomed to the event with a red carpet, where photo opportunities and interviews took place. After the red carpet arrival, attendees enjoyed a champagne reception followed by a 5-star dining experience. After the dining experience was over, the awards ceremony began. Presented by the top entrepreneurs and business owners in the country, awards given out on the night included; ‘Rookie Owner of the Year’, ‘20/20 Performance Award’, ‘50/50 Club’, ‘Most Improved Business Owner’, ‘Recruiter of the Year’ and the coveted ‘Business Owner of the Year Award’.
Live Innovations Managing Director, Tom Harris was particularly inspired by the industry promotions at the ceremony where three individuals were officially promoted to regional director level. “It’s always exciting to see people progressing, and personally knowing each individual that was promoted at the event, I was extremely motivated and inspired to work that bit harder, and up the urgency and intensity to make sure I am standing on that stage next year,” said Mr Harris.
The awards gala closed with entertainment from a former X Factor winner, a silent auction and a casino. Throughout the Gala, the event organisers ran a silent auction where attendees were encouraged to bid on a broad range of special prizes which resulted in £15000 being raised, with all the proceeds going to Railway Children, a charity fighting for the protection of vulnerable children in the UK, India and East Africa.
